That was the first foam fill LRB, more like 3.5 pounds. But there were others without gelcoat.

Solid glass best picture i have of barrel channel.I believe it also had stainless rudder, rails and but plate.

Yep the solid glass ones are about 10 pounds. The picture I posted was a foam fill. Not the same stock. Solid glass ones usually got steel rudders and butt plates. I got a lot of stocks without gelcoats

Embarrassed to post this but it is the best I can do. Savage LRPV. Sanded, painted and lettered. Always wanted a Radio Flyer as a kid. Finally got it but my skills are tapped out with this one, so it's limited.

I’ve seen a few posts with pictures of really beautiful custom stocks. I’m not sure if they’re real wood, or look alike synthetic, it doesn’t really matter. I’ve searched the forum, but I guess I’m not using the correct keywords. If anyone has suggestions as to a source of cosmetically beautiful, traditional looking stocks, I’d appreciate it. Thanks!

Now understand, I'm all about accuracy and modern bench guns, but there is something about beautiful walnut when the light makes the grain just pop! For others it may be the way a 100 year old lever action showing its age tells a story and you wonder what it would say if it could talk. Still...

Recently one of our members here on accurate shooter had this 22 for sale. I am not normally a big fan of maple stocks but this one really got my attention. The three dimensional look is just incredible. I thought it was so nice I snapped a picture of it on my phone and will keep it on file for when the conversation comes up with somebody about beautiful pieces of wood.

Those flames remind me of a famous pinstripe and airbrush artist in the Detroit area named Dr. Ru. Guy was a true wizard with the pin striping brush. 100% freehand

Those particular flames were done using a low tac template and a airbrush, pinstripes were done freehand by my buddy Jason at Sucka Punch.

Von Dutch stripes. They were done by Kurt Silva out of Bend Oregon.
