30BR

2950 ish to low 3Ks are good places to try to develop a load. As always, your rifle will tell you what it likes. I have some LT30 but have no experience with it yet. With H4198 somewhere in the 33.5 to 35 gr range depending on the speed of your powder should give you a good accurate loading.

.010 neck thickness, .330 chamber neck? On jump, did you mean .016?
My bad. Yes, .016 jump. The neck thickness is .010. I am not sure about the chamber. I bought the barrel used to try out .30 cal. Looks like it will shoot. A little more recoil, but easily manageable.

I will be switching to LT30 in the 30 br after the winter matches. I was advised by a good shooter that switched last year the groups with the LT30 shrunk when he lightened up on neck tension. Might be worth a try.

I will give 325 a try. My 5 shot groups are agging less than .2, with some zeros thrown in. I think I have to shoot better to group better.

Trying out some Speer 125gr. First outing with them did not go well. They would not stabilize.

I upped the powder load significantly, working up until I got slightly tight bolt lift. They did stabilize with the stiffer load. I felt like they were going to shoot ok.

Had a few minutes this afternoon. Loaded 9 rounds and a fouler, increasing the powder charge each three shot group. Two of three loads were in the 1s. I can live with that with cheap bullets. I did not sort of weigh them. I just loaded and shot them.

I know this is a hot load so I will not publish the amount of Lt30 used. It may get someone in trouble if they don’t work up.

Yes Sir !! I use TNT's for fire forming.
You guys are right about them being a cheap fireform bullet. If my three shot loads hold up at 5 shots, they will hold their on at small local matches. For most of us mere mortals, agging in the .1s is ok. Of course, I will have to see if the load is consistent and will repeat.

Hey man. I hope I didn't offend you with my fire form bullet assessment, but it seems I may have with your mere mortals comment. I was not downing your efforts. I hope those bullets shoot in the zero's for you. It just hasn't been my experience and I tried pretty hard. If I could have got them to shoot with repeatable match precision, I'd be using them. I wish you well in your endeavors.
