No a more recent President. I will not mention how I know what I know but, I will say an Ambassador left the Embassy for an outpost to speak with locals. Mind you there is a QRF in the region that it's only mission is to protect Embassies. They were never called out to protect the Ambassador. He contacted the locals an attempted to buy back the missiles. The out post was over run in 13hrs and the QRF never sent. He failed and was left to die because of what he knew and failed the mission.

Plus I have first hand knowledge of our government going to allow the murder of US Special Forces in Central America so they could gain some very limited intell. This was around 1988. I was there and heard it from the source that spared them. This is all I will say on this matter. If you think your government cares about you, you live in a dream world. Not that all of them are bad, just the ones that pull the strings are bad.. Those are the ones that count.

That's because ALOT of them are carrying USA made weapons.... They are leaving armored up Humvees , drones and mine proof vehicles along with Blackhawk choppers etc.... Not to mention guns and a boatload of ammo for those weapons.... 3.5 million items that they will admit basically given to the enemy.... This makes them the 30ish largest air Force in the world... Your tax dollars at work.... Shameful in my opinion and a slap in the face to our military....

The reason they weren't blown up is because the Afghan military was supposed to use it for their Country's protection. After twenty years, they apparently weren't convinced their Country was worth fighting for. For those blaming Biden, get over it. If they wouldn't fight for their Country by now, they never will and we've already invested too much money and suffering to continue a loosing battle. Remember the Previous President met with the Taliban and worked out this US departure, and without consulting with the Afghan leaders, that probably didn't help.

Funny, under Trump they did not dare to advance. And when they made moves in that direction, Trump thumped them. When Trump spoke, the Taliban soiled themselves. We now find ourselves in another period of milquetoast diplomacy where jawboning is considered action. God help us and our friends around the world.
