I and the wife are probably rare or maybe crazy, but we have not taken a regular flu shot in over 9 years and are not going to take this Covid 19 shot either. She is 80 & I am 82. I will not be a test person for them.

Not gonna get one, never had a flue shot. 66 years old and last time at a Dr. Was in 6th grade when I stuck a knife thru my foot trying to stick it in the dirt.

Wife is 64, works as RN in Intensive Care floor at local Hospital, says she'll retire if they try to force the vaccine to keep employment. yes, Wife, and Son tested positive and all three of us have had Covid, not a big deal, headache, achy muscles, loss of appetite and sinus drainage.

It affects some worse but my Son works in a Pharmacy and along with other Pharmacists he's talked to they have not filled ANY flue prescriptions since March of last year. Seems no one gets Flue any more.

Boys...I think some took what i said wrong.
I'm all for whoever wants to take it but I ain't.
I too have friends with it and some that have had it.
1 guy thats as fit as a fiddle is still getting over it.
He said he thought he was die'in. And I've had the flu...
still won't take it eighter. Everybody has to deside for themselves.
But don't try and make everybody think like everybody else...

My wife went for her yearly checkup a few days ago and her Doctor said he wasn't taking it and recommended she didn't take it.

I got my 2nd Friday. After 1st shot I was tired the next day. After 2nd, nothing. Literally none of my colleagues have had side effects. Pfizer if anyone is wondering/cares.

I'm 65. CA announced yesterday that it was revising guidelines to prioritize COVID-19 vaccine shots for all persons 65 or older. But the actual delivery of innoculations is up to the counties.

California is joining some other states in lowering the age of eligibility. It has distributed just shy of 900,000 doses and has more than 2 million doses on hand.

That's the weird thing... There's no rhyme or reason. I've seen otherwise healthy (and young) dying and those with a myriad of health problems barely have a symptom. Of course, I've seen it the other way around just as much, if not more. It doesn't make sense.

It's not the side effects that are a concern to me or my wife (nurse). It's the long term effects that we don't know about yet. Don't fool yourself, there is the possibilities. The past is full of them.

Ditto. I have taken the annual flu shots since I was 65 (due to respiratory issues) with no side effects. You can bet I'll be taking this as long as it isn't made in China.

The COVID-19 vaccines available in the U.S. (Pfizer and Moderna) are mRNA-based, and are not grown in eggs. Egg allergies don't have a damn thing to do with COVID-19 vaccines.

Most influenza vaccines are produced by propagating the attenuated virus in chicken eggs, which is why the nurse makes sure that you're not allergic to eggs before giving a flu shot.

The more people like you that decline the COVID-19 vaccine the sooner I will get mine. So, thanks.

I have had one flu shot in my 73 years. I have read a lot since this started. Number one this is not a true vaccine as what we have been given in the past It works via gene alteration not used for this purpose before. So after extremely minimal testing what might happen to you down the road. For a sickness that is 99% curable and non fatal. Now to the bigger reasons, Bill Gates is in this up over his head. Research his vaccine record around the world the last 25 years, Beyond scary. I hope your all ok with these shots, but I will trust my immune system. So people are all upset on big tech and communications. Better be wary of big tech and what they want to put in your body and for what reasons.

My wife was nice enough to bring it home to me from her job. When enough of them had it, they started having staff work with it. Not enough medical help to go around. I don't give a rat's azz what others do, just don't try to tell me what I have to do!
