Grandpa and my Dad taught me you can't starve money out of cattle. I've always been ashamed to own "pore" cattle, horses or dogs...

Dusty, my ancestors have long and colorful distilling history dating back to before the Whisky Rebellion through Prohibition. In my old age, I may give it a try. No old family resipes, but time and ideas to try. My cousin told me to avoid rubber hoses in the process.

The closest that I'll ever come to cow piss is dispensing it into the DEF tank on my W900.
My Dad had a 22 gauge 60 gallon stainless steel vat, it was heliarced. 3 copper thumper kegs silver soldered, all copper coil line. The shine he made was excellent and Christmas money was easy to come by. We sold it by the gallon. He was a helluva tinknocker and a damn good moonshiner, I surely miss him.
But unlike other stocks, when yours mature you can either sell them for a loss or keep feeding them and lose more

Bout through, going to put the bulls back in in a couple of weeks. Like to start about the first of December so I already feeding and it gives them a boost. Grass is coming on here and other than liquid supplement they will be on their own, I will creep the calves for a few weeks..
