Palma Alliance 2020

Ouch. No plans to win anything this year. It would ruin the match report if I actually won.

Sorry that doesn't show up for me on the mobile side. I will adjust it for you later.

Using a yellow creedmoor glove and the green creedmoor sling. Been considering trying the 10.9 sling the many people like Erud use. Tried moving my sling keeper to a different part of my coat. Liking that change. Might need to try a few other adjustments before I really settle in. My position has been melting and it is clear that I need to make a few more refinements.

Bought one of the new Vortex 82mm off of a member here. I bought it to allow me to move the scope closer and improve my position. As my friends have pointed out, I didn't win anything last year. The scope did not magically improve my scores.

I do plan to make a few adjustments this winter and train with the Scatt. Really liking the upgrade from the basic scatt. Not likely the magic answer either.

Starline was a big contributor to the USNRT for the calendar. Been using them for pistol brass for a few years. I always try to support the products and companies that make good products and support competition shooting.

I am still the junior assistant match report writing intern. My thought is at least I am not temporary. It is hard to replace a volunteer position like this. Ok, anyone to write match reports like that..... and with better english.
 
We all want the sport to grow. Don't we? I wish every match was like the BSWN with a 60 person waiting list, and that we had a growing feeder program or new shooters.
 
BSWN is perfectly timed to get a lot of shooters languishing in winter. Smallbore is decent a diversion but not a substitute.
A winter trip to the Caribbean for a fullbore might is something I hope to accomplish soon.
But I still am not going to join the alliance, it's too windy here for 155s.
 
Wishing all of the USNRT and the Palma Alliance members good luck at the Berger Southwest Nationals.
 
Just heard a rumor that ERUD was considering lifting the any rifle ban on the Palma Alliance shooters. Apparently shooting 6mm and 6.5mm has been shown to reduce your chances of catching this stuff. I am no doctor and I don't play one TV, but I am a little skeptical:D:oops::rolleyes:
