the best press!!!

I have a second hand RCBS jr 3 press and I really like it but what I am asking it to do is rough on me and it as well ... I am making 3 diffrent cases ,,, a few 7mm BR,, and 280 British,, and 6.5x55 Swede cases... there is a bodacious amount of lever pressure and my arm hurts like crazy from all of the up and down stuff... so is there a press out there with good mechanical leverage on the arm thats affordable? I would like to stay with RCBS but hey I will go where the consensus takes me HELP!!!!

I have an older rock chucker II and its great!! I do prefer the older ones tho, not the newer ones. good luck. bryant.

I’ve got a rockchuker 2 and it has quite a bit more leverage than my JR however I have a Redding ultramag on order for this kind of thing. My rock chucker may get put on decapping duty.

I know you said you’d like to stay with RCBS, but for the price these are a “tank” of a press.

Whatever you get just make a long handle for it.....The longer the handle the easier it is going to be on your arm etc.

For one single stage press to do it all, find an RCBS A4. I swage bullets on mine, and load everything from 50 BMG and 3 1/4" British express cartridges to 22 Hornet.

Forster Co-ax B5 model. Hang the lights on it and get the upgrades on the arms and base plate. Set your dies once and that's it.

LOL,,I was resizing brass with my Little Pacific,,I see Lyman Comets on Ebay,,TANK grade

You can make resizing easier by; lubeing inside of neck,when i resize 204 brass w/out lube,i start to lift the corner of a 350 lb bench the press is mounted on,when lubed,they are super easy. I use one shot on a Q tip,World of Difference

Soooo many good presses. Redding and RCBS are two I use and couldn't imagine needing better ones. I have a smaller Lee but only use it for decapping when I don't need to size.
