the best press!!!

well I plan on making another 200-300 7mm BR cases and another 300 280 British cases and another 350 6.5x55 swede cases so I am definitely gonna upgrade my press. I dont know If I can afford the ultramag ( I looked on EBAY) but I see its merrit

The lee press I recommended will handle a 50BMG. The ram is larger diameter and the stroke is one of the longest. I use these presses along with some modifications as my bullet swaging presses, so they generate a tremendous amount of leverage. Another feature I like a lot is the handle design, it’s not threaded into the presses like a rockchucker so you can make a simple inexpensive handle as long as you need to in order to create leverage that’s comfortable for you to operate. And it’s the biggest press for the price. Whatever you choose, I wish you luck with it, I understand how painful running these presses can be.

my press that i am having all the fuss about,, according to others who have waaay more knowledge than I, pinned my press down to be a rcbs junior III. the only markings on it is on the (as the press faces you)left side of the "C" is RCBS and on the right side is "RS" and that all. the handle literally is screwed directly into the center of the ram with minimal cam action to the ram it works is all i can say about it ,,, do i like it? not really does it get the job done? after a fashion... i dont like the muscle cramps bruised hands and forearms so there has to be something afordable to replace this ''whatever it is press''

what is the name of your press Willy,, I am very much interested in a lee press had two many moons ago.. one was a turret press. the other was just a single station press both did just fine but in all fairness we also did not do any wildcatting either

He is referring to the Lee classic cast press. They have a heavy cast iron frame with large ram and great leverage. They offer them as a standard screw in die model and a bayonet mount.

Todd, I am real sure the linkage was changed for 30 cal. on your bullet making presses, the original linkage is good but not quite there for swaging 30's ..... but the original is fine for any type of reloading

A Corbin Bullet Swage press. They have enough leverage to form almost any shape/form of bullet imaginable. Plus they offer custom dies for virtually any forming/swaging.

well like i said the rock chucker will do a good job for you for half the price of an ultramag. lotta used rock chuckers around for sale to. i ordered a lee classic cast press the other day and ill report on it when i get it

It looks good. Probably overkill but I like that. I especially like the design...rails and linear bearings. Pretty cool looking press.
I have the smallest one. It is extremely well made and uses a good design. It operates very smoothly and you can feel the quality.
Does it radically improve my loaded rounds? Probably not. It is just one of those things that’s nice to have.

Sorry this is a matter of opinion... similar to the question "which is the best car to own". For me I like Redding Big Boss II. I have a dillon with lots of stuff for it, going to sell it.
