Decapping a bunch of (don't remember, either 308 or 223) on a Hornady Classic using a Lee Universal decapping die. Feed the brass from a fistful with the left hand, half a stroke with the right hand, remove the brass with the right and toss it in a bucket, repeat. Get a rhythm going after about the first ten, cranking them out. Somewhere along the line, a case gets about halfway into the shellholder and sticks. Left hand immediately tries to reposition with a finger on top and thumb pressure on the bottom to fully seat the case in the holder. Unfortunately, no-one told the right hand what was going on. Put the decapping pin through the pointer finger cuticle just below the nail. Tried to pull my finger out, but it was impaled on the pin. Had to use my right hand to push the finger down and extract the pin. Oddly, the whole experience was rather pain-free. Took a month or two for the deformed nail to migrate out to where it got trimmed off, though.
