Best Pricing for Remington 700 Actions?

Asking for a friend but who normally has the best prices for new Remington 700 actions? Besides Remington that is.

i'll hang up and listen.

Some people buy the barrels, triggers, and stocks for whatever reason. Thatll offset over half the cost so a new action becomes half price over just an action in a box

Tough to beat cheaper than dirt's 285.00 action price on the 700/308 bf SA. Personally I'd buy the 350-400.00 rifle and move the barrel and stock keeping the action. Plus no need to deal with an FFL dealer on mailing the action. Just go buy the rifle at Wally world, Dunham's or Dicks. Cabela's/BPS even if they have the lower pricing. Couple guys here have been selling SA Remmy's for a pretty good price too.

This price has gone up, at least for what I saw just now. $329.00 is the base price, I think now. But you can get just the receiver body only if you either have your own bolt or want to get an aftermarket one-piece bolt instead. It's a good option. Something like $222.00 for the body only.

Too good of a deal to last.

Not sure exactly what the other person is looking for other than left hand actions so I said I'd source some for him.

I was in a similar boat a couple years ago after being "out of the loop" so to speak for maybe 15 years. Trying to find a cheap Remington 700 long action left hand stainless rifle to cannibalize for parts was a fools errand so I just had a local dealer friend snag one from GunBroker which ended up being maybe $410 after shipping, CC fee, transfer fee, etc. He said he could have gotten it for less so when I went for a second one, I just had him get it.

Thanks for the linkies everyone.

Thing is the I needed a pistol purchase permit in order to buy it.
