Finished a Richards Microfit stock!!! Very Pic heavy!

Here is one of my Richards Microfit stocks. It's the precision model, 6.5 Creedmoor with heavy varmint factory barrel. I have another Microfit precision walnut stock on a long action Howa and a couple Microfit benchrest stocks. The one I am currently working on is also a benchrest stock for a Rem model 7 action. All but one of my microfit stocks I got from the bargain bin.

I've about a half dozen of them all dual-grip thumbhole.

This one is exhibition grade Claro walnut.

And these 2 in the works.

Not to ruin a good thing but a synthetic version of the dual grip thumbhole would be a nice touch.

I've had several of them. They are normally as nice as you make them. They give a nice baseline for a semi-custom stock without carving it from scratch.

Their finished stocks look about the same so good thing you saved money on the unfinished one.

Wasn't aware they offered finished versions.

Here is the electric blue as I received it. The purple sapphire one got shipped direct to the finisher so I never saw it. Looks like a good finish should bring out the color/s.
