Gunsmith for Hunting Rifle

What is he looking to have done? He may be better off just getting the barrel fit and chambered by a smith. Then order a McMillan w/ pillars to fit that barreled action. Put the trigger of choice in and shoot it. If that’s all he needs I know of several smiths that could have a barrel done up in a couple days.

Melvin Forbes of New Ultra Light Arms is the father of the ultra light rifle. He started building them in the 80's. He's in West Virginia. If you can get him to build you a rifle it's one you'll never forget.
