I took some guys to the range on Saturday. Two “youngsters” were trying out their new guns and an old friend came into town. I took a day and made all the ammo on Friday. Loaded the truck on Saturday morning with all the gear, forgetting my extra sandbags.:( Since I only have three rests, I played coach most of the time. I did shoot a few rounds while somebody took a break but for the most part I just spotted. We got back late so I piled the guns in the shop with a patch of Wipe out in the barrels and left them for Sunday. I went to bed feeling a little deprived. I spent Sunday afternoon scrubbing and cleaning and putting things away. When I finished the “work”, I sat back and reflected. Even tho I didn’t get to really shoot, I had spent a day with good friends and another day fawning over gun’s. I looked at the table. Yup! Life is good!;)

As we approach the Christmas holiday, I’d like to suggest we all count our blessings and not linger on the disappointments life may hand us. May God bless you all and have a merry Christmas! Josh

Know the feeling , I take people to the range all the time..... You don't get to shoot much but I enjoy spreading the sport to others.... People just don't understand how much work goes into reloading and maintenance for a day at the range... Without committing to this our sport will eventually fade away... Ranges are getting shorter or closing , people are not shooting as much as they used to.... I was happy the last time I took 3 guys to the range , they had their own ammo , targets , guns and spent half a day having a great time... I actually got tired just watching over them....

Yes, it can be great to just watch and talk guns and reloading. Those are good looking firearms. Could you give us some info on them. TKS
Merry Christmas

A great reminder from a great friend. I may be having a tough time now but I never forget I for one have been truly blessed. Thank you for your support Josh and have a Happy Holidays.

Good for you, Josh, you may have made a big difference in their Christmas. Very nice collection of rifles (hope you get all the bolts back in the right ones, LOL)

God bless you as well :)

Unfortunately I can't figure out how to satiate this hunger for new rifles. Tons of "blessings", but I just keep building. I can't stop! Help me! Lol.
:oops::D
