PSA - Noobs and Retail Store Help Rant

it was the Wheeler I was talking about, barrel cut right, its good, BUT then there is the arbor type that I do not like at all,,period,,
I've got two made by Site Lite that I do use a lot.
I have two of the Wheeler ones...long story. They are great as long as you recognize the assumption behind them. Work outside that and you’re in for a less than satisfying result.

I've learned a lot on the internet, RIGHT HERE, I've also had someone here tell me hat I kept sloppy records, who were they, don't know, I keep records, I can tell you where I was at
and what we were doing all the way back to 1978,,

I’m using the internet to talk to Mike Ezell, Jim Borden, Jerry Sharrett, and a slew of great gunsmiths. Select YouTube for well-respected machinists on how to clean up my lathe, wire a VFD, etc.

You seem to have rushed to judgment that I’m a dumb-a$$. You might want to stick around a while and get to know me before making further rash accusations. You’ll look less like a jerk.
OH! I didn't "rush to it" , just by watching I came to that conclusion over a period of time!

Yup! GSPV!! I think you have the brain cells to figure it out!;) (Based solely on how smart you were to marry such a pretty and generous girl!):D

Nice, but what about the A10 Warthogs? Ya gotta love those! Just for the gun, if for nothing else!;)

Back to the OP: I listen to the counter guys for entertainment purposes only!
The A10, like the F-16 was the right plane for the right job, at the right time.

The stuff that I did would have been great on the A10. GREAT. But, we were the AFTI F-16 and she will always be my second best girl.

Another interesting question. Why did these guys stick my work pal with a 4.5-18X Nikon ProStaff FFP BDC reticle scope when he will be hunting in woods and short (200 yard max) fields in Georgia? It required a different set of rings from the Tikka that I gave him (too low), and they didn’t have taller Tikka rings, so he had to get a mount. He’s a noob but must be pretty good salespeople. :/.

sales people-bigger is better, but one thing to remember is this person was in the shoe dept. yesterday. I don't know everything, but I try to save people MONEY,,

A few of my birds - lined up for a drink in Chu Lai.
