Stolen rifles

Cary,

If those rifles were not insured under a separate policy you may know as an NRA member you get automatic insurance of $2500.00. I think there may need to be some evidence of forced entry though. If you leave the car unlocked they won't cover it. Of course a Slim Jim may not show any damage so when obtaining the police report make sure you stress the car was locked.

One can second guess himself to the grave. Learn a lesson and move on. Yes, I had things stolen from a locked vehicle, an unlocked vehicle and off the vehicle. Worked third shift at the Westinghouse plant in Lester, PA. Came out after work and the rear end was sitting on two milk crates.

Yeah, no B.S. If your luck is like mine the thief will take them to some communist liberal democrat run city {of which there is no shortage!!} and break the law. Then the libtards will somehow manage to get one of their judges to lock you up for "allowing the guns to be stolen" and pin a medal on the thief!!!!!
Sounds like you know the judge with my custody issue. Marathon walkers have those 13.1 and 26.2 or whatever oval stickers on their cars, I want the ones so bad that say 5.56 and 7.62 but worry that it would advertise "this guy has guns" and I carry a lot with me in my van.

I already looked into the NRA "Arms Care". And in the very very small print, it says the insurance must be activated, before it is valid. Already been down that road. So to anyone who is an NRA member, you need to activate your Arms Care insurance, or it is therefore useless.

I’ve done about all I can do. Police report has been filed, serial numbers have been provided. My car was my work/fleet car and they provide no reimbursement for stolen personal items from what they told me.

Home owners insurance is not going to pays. So basically I’m at a total loss as of right now. Only hope is somehow Indiana pd finds them or a miracle. So lesson learned, insure your guns and if not do not in any circumstance leave them in your car.

Ironically the Marriott I stayed in just happen to not have cameras and the security guard just happen to not be on duty, so I will be reporting it to them as well which will do nothin besides maybe a few hotel points which won’t touch the $4000 or so worth of items sold. Anyways, If any one has any other suggestions I’m all ears, plus If you see me working the corners in Indy to raise money for new rifles don’t judge me or report it. Thanks in advance

Really upsetting situation. I sometimes think that will happen to me. There is no point in insurance any more. It's wealth distribution from the late middle class to … various others.

Things may have changed...but Indy is divided into 4 beat sectors. Meridian north to south and Washington (Hwy 40) goes east to west. Number one is the northeast, 2 is southeast, 3 is southwest, and 4 is northwest. North side of 2 and south side of 1 are heavy (were) crime areas. Northwest seems the 'nicest' part of the city/county. South west was like going back a hundred years and moving to the hills of Kentucky. (Mars Hill) was the name given. Hardscrabble there. I assume you stayed off I-465 someplace? I would complain to Marriott as they probably had signs posted about video cameras etc...
