Remington barrel

Will a Remington barrel fit any other action besides Remington?

Which Remington barrel are you referring to????? Remington has used several threads over the years and on different rifles. The most common, the 700, uses a 1 1/16" X 16, as do many other Remington as well as some other brands...it's a relatively popular thread for a barrel tenon.
Not sure what you want to do...most barrels can be set back, re-threaded if necessary and installed and headspaced.
If you were thinking about taking a Remington barrel off one rifle and installing it on some other rifle then no, probably not and even if it does happen to thread on you will still need to set the headspace so it's safe.

Yes it is a Rem 700 heavy barrel with 1 1/16” x16 thread. Just wondering who else uses this size and thread. What thread would a Howa SA have?

Howas use a metric thread. Most other common actions do not use the bolt nose recess like the Remington.
