While I'm at it....for someone using a chassis/bipod/squeeze bag off a sturdy but not concrete bench....what if any improvement would you expect to possibly see by going to a benchrest stock/front rest/rear bag-Protector rabbit ear type setup? This is simply a want vs a need thing....always wondered, but have not had the chance to try a setup like that to feel it out. Thanks all
Very good thanks. More of a want than a need...or a question and itch I have not scratched. I keep watching these vids with bench rest setups sure looks neat, but just wasn't sure what it might add to my experience. Thanks allI shoot the same groups from the chassis squeeze bag as I did from a rest.
The rest is easier. Also the rest shooting did nothing for my other shooting.

You can add a front piece to the Boyds stock and also make a bag rider easily.I have a couple of Boyd’s pro Varmint stocks and I do like them but I’m looking for a true wide forend bench rest stock.
Concrete bench?I shot off a bipod and rear squeeze bag for years.
Now I have a couple bench rest rifles also.
I shoot those off a Seb it does make a difference, much more stable and adjustments are simpler and
smoother.
Don passed away, but a fella bought his equipment and is making them @Hi-NV Shooter knows the contact info.If Don Stith is in business he makes what you want.
Alive and well. I've painted 2 Rotex for Greg Brooks in as many months. Is rotex still out there ? The 22 stocks are nice.
C&c machined.
Randy Owens Rotex Stocks
I want to order a stock from Randy. I can only find him listed on Facebook. I don't have Facebook. Anyone know how I can get a hold of him either by email or preferability by phone? I understand it's going to take 4 or 5 months to get one.forum.accurateshooter.com
