Laminate Bench rest stock

I have a couple of Boyd’s pro Varmint stocks and I do like them but I’m looking for a true wide forend bench rest stock.

For someone who has no plans to ever compete in any bench rest shoots, but shoots ELR bench rest exclusively would you have any suggestions I might try out not breaking the bank? I have never tried one and while I like my MDT ACC chassis, bipod and rear squeeze bag I think I could likely squeeze some additional accuracy with a bench rest stock and perhaps a nice adjustable front rest? Thanks

While I'm at it....for someone using a chassis/bipod/squeeze bag off a sturdy but not concrete bench....what if any improvement would you expect to possibly see by going to a benchrest stock/front rest/rear bag-Protector rabbit ear type setup? This is simply a want vs a need thing....always wondered, but have not had the chance to try a setup like that to feel it out. Thanks all

I shoot the same groups from the chassis squeeze bag as I did from a rest.

The rest is easier. Also the rest shooting did nothing for my other shooting.

Very good thanks. More of a want than a need...or a question and itch I have not scratched. I keep watching these vids with bench rest setups sure looks neat, but just wasn't sure what it might add to my experience. Thanks all

I have these available in high gloss and satin. They are Remington 700 foot print compatible. I have been very successful with these and people like them. They shoot quite well with no bedding. I also have the satin.

This is the last of the glosstocks they are not making them anymore.

I shot off a bipod and rear squeeze bag for years.
Now I have a couple bench rest rifles also.
I shoot those off a Seb it does make a difference, much more stable and adjustments are simpler and
smoother.

You can add a front piece to the Boyds stock and also make a bag rider easily.

Alive and well. I've painted 2 Rotex for Greg Brooks in as many months.
