We hunted PDs north of Lubbock last year. The wind blew steady 20-30 all day. Still got some hits out to 900+ yards.
MY buddy was shooting a 6.5 Creedmoor and I shot a 6.5-.284. I'll admit, we had many sighters.

Creedmore WHAT,OK thats done,,got cousins in WY.,with some land,going to get with them for next spring,,might have to rent a rifle,my 788 looking for a new barrel,,until then sticking
with my pigs,,poppadop guy needs to go talk to the Bob Meuller guy,,

I chased a PD on my atv yesterday.. Does that count as hunting them? lol... I have seen a lot of mounds in Eastern Montana with grass growing on them. Meaning they are vacant.

I finished breaking in my new 6.5 Creedmoor on some prairie dogs this weekend. Best one of the day was a momma running out to see why a pup was laying there in two pieces only to get launched into the air, all four feet straight out, cartwheeling 7 feet up and 8 feet over.
