The Sears and Roebuck and JCPenney Christmas catalog that used to come out every year when I was a child helped me to spend my mother and father‘s money for them very easily. I think that a catalog in front of the customer may induce a person to buy something they may otherwise not. I am sure the think tanks have figured it out that they can save money by not putting out the catalog and I don’t doubt this. It was sure nice to anticipate the arrival of a brand spanking new catalog in the mail twice a year and wonder what might be new inside it.
