6.5 SLR/S Improved - Ready for testing

Still busy with building a new cabin, setting up a 1,000 yard range and hunting. With the chassis this rifle is pretty heavy so most of my shooting has been with a 6.5 Grendel.

I did receive this message from Rtheurer:

"I have stuffed some new Reloader 26 into one of my 6mmSLR's and it producing great results with some very impressive Velocity and lower pressure. If you still have your 6.5 Barrel I think you should give it a try. I am running a 105gr Hybrid at 3280 and have run them up to 3400fps before I found MAX. Also just shot some R26 in a 6.5X284 with 140Hybrids and am getting 3150 in the good node with a Max pressure up at 3290!!! I believe you will have NO probem with 3000fps in your version of the 6.5XSLR with Relaoder 26. I have been using Magnum Primers to reduce the ES successfully. Wolf, Federal and CCI seem to be the best option in the Magnum Primers."

No he was using H4350.
47.6 grains is where he stopped. He got ejector swipes.
He used palma brass.
Great velocity, but he is looking for a node below that.
