It would help if you said what you intend to shoot. Different disciplines have different requiremen's. MattHey guys I'm looking into upgrading my front rest ,but I'm undecided as to which rest I should buy ,I do favor precision made products .any thoughts on the Farley,or seb neo rests .thanks

I meant like what competition. Maybe just casual shooting? You will need different tops and bags to shoot round and flat bottoms on the same rest. Unless you put on a plate on your round guns. MattFlatbottom stock and also stocks with round forums
The flate plate adapter for a round stock would be the best way for me to go .im just shooting fun and not competing.i was thinking of the Sinclair competition model with a flate bag .I meant like what competition. ThanksI've had Farleys and a number of Neo's the Ratigan is the smoothest by far but in the cold they all suck and are sticky and jerky. but for running around the target in score for point blank ranges they will excel as long as it is warm. For 600 and 1000 the Sinclair is the best, you can move both knobs and never move your hand, and they are faster than the Neo or Farley if your gun is built to track. The knobs are better for the fine adjustment need for long range. F class is an other story and the reason is you don't need to reach for the knobs and the Neo is easier with the joystick. They all have there place...... jim
That rest would work for what you want to do. MattThe flate plate adapter for a round stock would be the best way for me to go .im just shooting fun and not competing.i was thinking of the Sinclair competition model with a flate bag .
Thank you for answering back it's 9 mo for a Seb ,neo, rest and as I think about it I'm thinking that the joystick is not for me ,so my next question is maybe getting a j j rest or a Sinclair competition rest .any thoughts? ThanksI have probably owned more front rests in my 4 season's of competition in SR score than anyone. I've owned 1 original Bald Eagle slingshot, 1 Dan Greenlaw home plate rest, 4 Farley CoAx2's, 5 Seb Coax's, and 3 Neo's & 1 Seb Max, and have 4 more on order. I have only used the Farley, Seb Coax, and Seb Neo's in matches. I can honestly say that I have done no better, or worse with any of the 3. The thing that shines in Sebastian's products is product support and quality of workmanship. His way of thinking is the customer is #1, which is the way it should be. His products are second to none, plus if you have an idea that you think will enhance any of Seb's rests, HE WILL LISTEN and will incorporate it if he deems it as an improvement. I've always told shit like it is and this post is no different. While the Farley is a pretty nice rest, there are products out there that enhance it, like the tension screws that Butch Lambert sells, the stainless steel feet that PMA offers, bags by Edgewood or Protektor. The trouble with Farley is their customer support, or the lack of it. While I like Mike, Jaime and Jim as people, their idea of customer support is lying to people, plain and simple. Where the truth would do, they lie about it. I bought a new Black Widow action and requested a firing pin removal tool and I gave up after a year and a half worth of lies on the phone. In the end I had Sid Goodling fabricate one for me. Dave Apple from MD coined the term "Farley Time" years ago. They have their own time frame but they'll tell you different. If they tell you they are going to ship it this week, don't hold your breath. Your lucky to see it 9 month's from now. I will NEVER buy another Farley anything. I don't need hearing anymore lies. BOTTOM LINE, GET A SEB REST!!! YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID!
Yes thank you I'm also concerned with the warranty with the rest thank youThe Sinclair is a fine rest and will be all you most likely will ever need. The Loh rest IMHO is better. Kind of like having a gun from Remington custom shop or having Jim Borden build you one.
Rests are built with top quality materials. Not much to go wrong with them. MattYes thank you I'm also concerned with the warranty with the rest thank you
