Yes it is. Thanks. I did that and it was a lot of work but it turned out good.Grimstod...
Is that stock the Boyds Pro-Varmint? Like the paint scheme.
Nice shooting but did you shoot a slug for shot #5 lol
Hard to believe with country side like you have behind that rifle, you can't utilize it to your best ability with a rifle to deer hunt with. I can shoot ground hogs in the next zip code with my 6.5 while in Ohio but cannot use that rifle to kill deer. Sad !!!View attachment 996688 View attachment 996689
6.5x47L
B&C stock
X-caliber 1-8" @ 20"
F1 Ti Suppressor
140s over H4350 @ 2800fps
Last time I shot it for groups it was 3 shots @ 400 that went in just under 1.25".
I guess that's ok in the long run, at least for me. There's alot of monster bucks in Ohio thats numbers would be much lower if rifles were allowed in Ohio during there gun season. I guess I'll have to just be satisfied using them on ground hogs.Hard to believe with country side like you have behind that rifle, you can't utilize it to your best ability with a rifle to deer hunt with.
