NEW! Berger 308 bullet with wicked 0.328 G7 BC!

32", You contributed to this load, by the way. You were among a few who commented on their 200H seating depth in their pet loads...take a bow;). Too bad I will not see you at Nats. I enjoyed our short, but fun, conversation in AZ. Drew

Yes sir, same here and best of luck at Nationals. I'm sure you will shoot well........;)

skiutah02, Have you tried your 200.20X Load at 1,000y would be interested in vertical and group size achieved with this load also what was you elevation when you cronied your Loads.

I'm also quite interested in the answer to your question, but will not have a chance to try them at 1000 until next Tuesday at the practice for LR Nationals. Stay tuned. In the ballpark of 935ft asl. Drew

Keep us posted and best of Luck at LR Nationals, paul.

Thanks Jade and Paul. With my type of luck, I will try these at LR practice and shoot a 1" 10-shot group, and then be looking sadly at 300 rounds of 185Juggs to shoot the next 4-days...... :(:)

They are 0.016" off. 2.355" CBTO. I just guessed at this depth and have not even tried any other seating depths, much less done a full seating depth test (mostly because I saw that several others on this forum with experience with the "old" 200H were around 0.015 off). Not sure I even would mess with it, as this is already pushing the limit of my ability to shoot small and tweeking seating depth for this one in this rifle will not make it shoot any better in my hands. Drew
I would have a play with seating depth if only to find out how big your accuracy window is with seating depth. If your lucky it will still shoot just as well at 0.026 off, then you have a whole 0.010 of throat erosion to play with until you need to tinker with it again.
I think some people would be happy with your 300 yard target at 100 yards.

I shoot tatical matches out to 1000 yards and the occasional further shot. I am use to shooting 175 SMKs and was wanting to try something different.

You need to check your magazines, and make sure you don't have magazines with the insert. These were designed for F-Class single feed rifles. Shooting PRS, Positional, Steel, or Tactical Matches is a different equipment game.

my Rifle uses AW magazines. There are no inserts.

We've brought up the need for larger count boxes. It may be something we can hope to see down the road a little bit, but nothing in the immediate future.

skiutah02, Those groups are looking great!

Curious. What is your freebore?

Chamber is cut with the wonderful 2013 FTR reamer with 0.170 fb. However this rifle has 2007 rounds on it now and has eroded nearly 0.030. If your chamber is new, the loaded round I gave CBTO for will be jammed and could be dangerous without proper testing in a different rifle. Please workup safely (everyone). I also happen to know that this lot of varget is much slower than my last lot. Be safe everyone. Drew

This is pretty cool. Ray Gross, Captain of the US Rifle Team, did some testing on the new 200.20X .308 Bullets. He found that they are just as easy as other Hybrids to get shooting, but also that they reduced the SD in multiple different barrels. Some load hints can be found here too. Powders, reamers, throat etc. Just a little. Improved BC, with Reduced SD from a new bullet design that maintains that non-jump-sensitive ogive... Yes Please!

Thanks. I just replaced my barrel now with a 0.170 freebore. Just checking my CBTO measurements with a regular 200 hybrid to yours now that I'm sure we have the same freebore. Allowing for your erosion and the slight difference to the 200.20X the #'s align fairly close. Appreciate the confirmation.

2.344 seems to be measurement with new chamber and "heavy" touch.
