Late this evening I setup the Turbo rimfire with the added mid barrel tuner on it and began testing by torquing the Pappas mid barrel tuner and shooting two shots. If I had a good looking two shot group I'd keep going and usually by the 3rd or fourth shot I'd have a flyer. So I kept tightening the tuner and kept repeating the two shots and again repeat with more if I thought I had a promising group going. After going thru nearly two boxes of R50 ammo I decided to back off the screws on the tuner and after a few test groups the next twist of the wrench I yielded two shots in one hole, so from there I kept shooting until I had actually put 10 shots nearly into one hole. Here is the target shot.
Before the mid barrel tuner the rifle was yielding groups around .150-.160 for five shots on a real consistent basis testing a few days in a row.
