Your right Joe, thats one ……….. and you need help to get on the target? best run a imp. reamer in it or a Dasher Reamer…….. lol. jim

Hmmm... maybe could be called a 6INCH?

Here's something I ran across last December (scroll down to middle of this page); had a reamer done by JGS then 1:9 Brux barrel chambered by Ryan Pierce early this year. So far I'm pleased with how it's performing but I'm still evaluating propellants. Getting 2,800 fps with 180 Hybrids and VLD's with H4350, N550 or RL17.

Run-of-the-mill 308 Winchester. Merely necked down to 7mm then fire-formed to blow shoulder forward 3.5mm beyond what's typical for a 7-08. In fact you can use standard 7-08 dies if you want to; I had John Whidden cut a (bushing) set from the reamer plan supplied to me by R. Chombart. JGS made the reamer from the same plan early this year, then Ryan Pierce fitted the barrel to my CG INCH action.

I took it to a 4x600 match today, fired a 199-9 with match sights using 180 Hybrids & N550. 2,810 fps was the speed I got in testing a week ago, SD 6.
