Freebore and neck diameter??? ThanksSo just from neck wall measurments given. I am guessing a .272 neck reamer for no turn brass?
Ditto, I would love to have 100. I know there a re a few who will try to get 10,000 and "flip" them into the frenzy.Shiraz will you put a limit on how many each person can order so some guys aren't left waiting some more. Like I said all I need is 100 to make sure there what I want.

AMEN! My two reservations about the original Dasher were fire forming and short neck.Leave the necks long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Phil.
Long necks are inherently accurate (.222, 6BR, 6SM, etc.). I went back to standard 6BR for the long neck. This will be a game changer. Some of the best shooting dashers I've ever seen have chambers way longer than formed brass.

Yeah! Go Shiraz Go!I got some really good news this morning from Norma.
They tested the brass yesterday at maximum pressure for 10 firings and there was no deformation, no donuts and no primer pocket stretch! They said that they have not had brass do that in a long time and the blend of the brass (the metal itself) combined with the double stamping of the heads has given them the perfect combination.
Personally, I am very excited about this brass and look forward to the delivery. Today I will be getting with PTG to come up with a reamer that has a longer neck length for the guys that want that option.
Double stamping makes a HUGE difference. My 6.5x47 Lapua and .223 Lake City NATO brass will take 40 plus reloads without stretching.Well they mustabeen learning something from what Hornady figured out when they started production of 6HAGAR brass a few years ago then!
The double-strike on the heads really goes a long way towards making case heads more resistant to pocket stretch, particularly among those who lean towards full-power loads at the very first loading!
Almost makes me want to go & have a Dasher chambered....
I ABSOLUTELY agree! 1000per is too much for the initial lot. Please give us all a chance. It's your business and you'll obviously run it as you wish. But allow me to respectfully make a comment.
IMO, 1k out of a 50k shipment is too big an allowance. How 'bout you limit initial quantizes to 2 boxes (200 rounds). That would potentially accommodate 5x the customer base. If you allow 1k lots, I promise you within 5 days of your initial shipments, the board shylocks will be selling the very same boxes for a 40% mark up. All you will do is piss off a large contingent of potential customers and ultimately put money in someone else's pocket after you took all the initial risk.
The argument for buying large quantizes to ensure "identical" cases from the same lot has no real credence here. It's basically all 1 lot. And 2 boxes is sufficient for existing Dasher owners to test the cases and report how they perform. In fact, the real acid test comes after repeated firings. Even if someone buys 1k cases, they will only process 100 or so cases and those they will fire over and over to test them out.
If you want to get all the initial 50k sold and satisfy as many customers as is possible, how 'bout you start taking preorders now. Limit initial quantities to some modest number like 2 boxes. Once the preorders are satisfied and if you have inventory remaining, then open the flood gates.
Thank you for making this investment and good luck!
Shiraz,
Any idea on the brass price yet???
Can we contact you if we want / need different neck dia. or freebores?????

One thing i think we can say conclusively is that is does help barrel life.Yea, those short necks really affect accuracy. http://bulletin.accurateshooter.com/?s=30+wolf+pup&submit=Search
I'm sure some one is already planning on running a standard Dasher reamer in deep for a little extra capacity.
Amen! The longer the better.I just spoke with Norma in Sweden and asked them the possibilities of making the necks even longer than originally specified, which is already over .100" longer than the fire-formed brass. They asked me to send them the specs and they will see if they are able to leave it longer than the drawing.
I think we can hopefully squeeze out another .050" in length.
Thanks.
