Your best 6 Creedmore loads

Reviving an old thread to see if anyone has more to add on the 6 Creedmoor and 105 Berger Hybrids and RL16. I'm using Lapua SRP brass and have been testing powder charge from 40.2 gr to 41.2 gr at my estimate of touch (2.1925" using the Forster Datum Dial kit). So far 40.8gr seems to perform the best and averaging 3133 fps. But I'm no getting any signs of pressure at 41.2 gr. Wondering if I should push higher.

3133 is pretty smoking for 40.8 so you're getting good speed. usually the "next node" is going to be order ~100 fps higher. at 7fps per .1gr that means you're going to have to go up about a grain which is probably pushing your luck. if it was me i would be totally happy at 3133fps if that is where it also is shooting best

Thanks. Makes sense. I need to put more rounds in at 40.8 to confirm and also test either side 40.7/40.9.

I thought all Rl powders had the copper agent in them.
Something that steered me towards RL16 is it’s decoppering agent and the temperature Insensitivity. I know that reloader 17 does not have either, and RL19 just has decoppeing agents
