Please share your best 6mm Creedmore loads, the performance of said load, and what rifle you’re firing it from. Thanks!

I am glad to find this thread. I have a brand new 6 creed and am looking for starting points. Everyone that posted on this thread is using H4350 so it must be working. Any others out there?

I pulled down the load data from the Sierra and Hornady web sites for the 6 Creed. I have also looked at the Hodgdon Reloading website at their 6 Creed offerings. So many choices, so little time.

Thanks to everyone who posted.

40.9gr RL16
110 Sierra @ 3100
205 M
Lapua brass, no turn

Absolute hammer of a load, I've been pulling powder as it warms up, not making any claims here, but was at 41.3gr and have had it up to 3130 shooting damn good.

Thanks Fatelvis and Milo 2.0. I have RL-15, RL-17, and RL-19. No RL-16 on my shelves. I may have to go shopping. I do see loads for RL-17 in the Hornady pull down and a load for RL-19 for the ELD-M. This is where the fun begins.

RL 17 may not be a bad choice if you have it, I myself would nix the idea of 19. I'm shooting RL 16 more because I want one powder for all my 6mm's, it fits the bill. In 6 creed it offers good case fill per kernel weight, otherwise I'd be shooting a slower powder given case capacity.

Something that steered me towards RL16 is it’s decoppering agent and the temperature Insensitivity. I know that reloader 17 does not have either, and RL19 just has decoppeing agents.

I guess today other than Win 748 in 223, all I use is RL 16 and IMR Enduron powders. I'm from the school, additives, as good as they are do not equate to a clean bore, trade offs. If there is carbon buildup, most likely there is copper in it too. Copper is easy to get out.

Did you find anything good with the rl powders?

Had good luck with H4350 and imr4451 with 105 hybrids and rdf. Also ran rl23 with rdf's with great luck. Been running rl23 and 115 DTAC lately in the new barrel.

42 grains RL16 behind 105 Hybrid in Hornady brass. I use Federal Gold Medal primers to generate 3,100 FPS in my 26" Bart 7.5 twist.
Very accurate load out to the 1,250 yards I've shot it. Also, not hard on my brass.
