Same here , I have had heat stroke to many times in 2011 during a massive forest fire here were we lost everything so I can't do the summer heat anymore... My reloading room is in my back bedroom so everything I load has been sitting on shelves ready to go for months now , just to hot to go shoot... Summer here is about the same and when winter comes it goes from 100 to cold in one day , we didn't have fall this year so I am scared if I don't get this done asap it will be in the 30s one morning which is coming... I shoot big rifles or rifles in general during the winter , so that times coming for me I hope... Last year it rained all winter so I didn't even shoot them just stuck with pistols... Well good luck to you sir on your project and most of all be safe on the tall stuff.. we have a front coming through so I am stuck waiting till Tuesday to get started up again... I am not complaining I could use a few days to let some of the sore in my back and shoulders ease up a little....

I can relate to that. I don't handle heat too well any more. Here, a blazing hot week is followed by rain and high winds, mud, and more heat, and overnight it will be in the 30's and 40's. Last year the ground was wet for 5-6 months and killed several areas of grass. Then we had an ice storm in mid November that looked like a tornado hit from all the downed limbs. Just not a lot of quality time to get out and shoot. Like you I've been pressure washing the house and doing some painting while the weather holds out. I'm 16 years older than you. A word of advise. Keep telling yourself that you aren't 25 again and know when to quit or get help. Injuries at this age don't heal nearly as quick. At 52 I built a 24x40' pole barn 95% by myself, and was riding a bicycle every summer 1,000-1,500 miles and swimming at least a mile a day in the summer months. Those days are gone. No more riding, no more heavy lifting (except me out of a chair), no more ladder work. The wife just went through 6 months of chemo this summer and is clear off cancer. It hasn't been a very good year. One reason I took up shooting about 10 years ago was it is easy on the body.
