That one is really close to what mine looks like. I just didn't have a good picture. Sometimes pics can make a difference in the way they look, but usually seeing them in person looks best. Everybody liked my stock except the guy who desiged the stock. He kept saying, but it's blue. He likes the more natural colors. Matt

Very tempting as soon as I get back from Florida I'm going to shoot the xp pistol if it shoots well I'll be sending you the stock . I've always had Terry Leonard to dye my stocks a reddish brown hue . But that blue one has my attention

If so...
Depending on how deep the red set it may have a slight violet cast, but can be shifted more blue in appearance with a couple lite coats of cobalt candy. It will be stunning to say the least.
Here's a raspberry blue/red dye test panel I did for Jim. Think of this with cobalt candy on top.custom mixed orange and black on left, vintage and honey amber on right.

Pictures of this rootbeer stock are what I used to entice @BartsBullets into painting his maple stock rootbeer.
I cant wait to see @JBO with his newest rifle put together, it should be a real stunner!!
Conversation and the hunt for a beautiful piece of wood have alread begun for a future project.
