Red hot Anschutz

Oh my God you are unbelievable. The stock looks like it was dipped in pure lacquer. Your talents know no bounds. What a pleasure to see such workmanship.

Another stock for @skeetlee
Mixed mediums on this stock.
I started by dyeing the stock with black then red aneline dyes. After priming and back filling the logo with simtech primer
I sprayed a few coats of apple red candy before clear coat.
This thing is on fire !!View attachment 1199492View attachment 1199493 View attachment 1199494View attachment 1199495 View attachment 1199496I'll post some pictures with the sun at a different angle next.
Trust me its mind blowing!
Amazing like usual-- Thats wood right? Interesting to me seeing how your wood ones come out.

Bart sent me a box of 68gr Avengers, I'm guessing he's already got me figured into the budget.
As for the wife...
She threatened to sell my primers after hearing about prices on gun broker.
I dont know what I'm going to do with her!

Brett, the proper response is yes dear, but I don't know where I put them!

Another beautiful stock. I need to expand my vocabulary, I am running out of ways to expound on your works of art.

Nothing like a bright red stock floating in 1/4" of clear.:cool:
I still have a hard time seeing someone taking a thing of beauty like that to the range, turning your back and see it roll off the bench and hit the pavement.:oops::oops: Hand gun to pop yourself in the head.:eek::eek:

Fella Bretts work is beyond amazing. This is my second one and I won’t be able to sleep waiting for it to come home.
These Anschutz rifles always have boring blond Wood so I think this will really grab people’s attention. The good news is that this rifle actually shoots well. Only downside I see is that I might be afraid to take it out of the shop. Lol. I’m not even gonna be able to put it away in the safe in worries it will get bumped or dinged. I’m gonna have to buy a separate safe just for Bretts stocks. Lol

I’m in the same boat. Hoping that after the inevitable first scratch happens I’ll be able to use my gun without wearing white gloves! Brett’s work is almost too beautiful.

I AM IMPRESSED, Brett. I am extremely appreciative of anyone who does whatever they do, to the epitome of their ability. I have viewed several of your creations in the past. You sir are a true craftsman and artist. Hopefully, one of my stocks will get similar treatment in the coming future. Please continue the outstanding work.

No safe queens!!!

Afraid to bump them or scratch them?? The clear Brett is using is waaaay tougher then what is used on that thing you drive through a car wash! Bump them, scratch them, use them and enjoy them... if you can’t wet-sand and buff out the imperfections - he can. So send them back every year or two for maintenance...small price to pay to not worry a thing! Enjoy the hell out of them!

The biggest issue I can see with one of Brett's works of art on a rifle stock is that you will never get a chance to shoot it. I can see everyone on the line wanting to check it out and you will never get a chance to fire it.

You guys worry to much Zack's daughter Kaitlyn has no qualms about shooting her's.
I hear she has show and tell afterward!!

I've always been under the impression that "show and tell" WAS part of the range trip?
Only issue is, when throwing one of those stocks up on the bench, ALL shooting stops.:cool:
