My 1st wooden stock, assembled rifle pics added

Wow!!!! What an excellent example of wood grain, staining and finishing!!!! Either of which can be stunning, but you put all three together, not to mention the stock itself!!
I wish we had curly hard maple around here. We have red {soft} maple and every now and then you see a piece that is similar, but just a tease compared to that one.
Just my personal opinion, but you picked the right colors too....black and red. They go together just right!!! Makes me think of my old Super Kodiak Bear bow.

Or would you prefer "Rat Fink"?
You might be onto something.
heres a shot of my "catch all" box.
I'm thinking bout emptying it out and moving it to the loading room.

Big daddy sounds better than Rat Fink.

I want to thank everyone for the kind words and support.
I've been answering numerous PM's both on how to and inquiries about getting stocks done.
Heres a couple shots of this rifle assembled.
Customer agrees pictures dont do it justice.
The finish is super deep and glassy!!!
