XP100 Center grip conversion to rear grip question

Could anyone tell me what steps that i would need to take to convert my center grip xp100 223 into a rear grip? Is it just a matter of a grip and 700 trigger, then bolt it on and go? Please be sure of the information as I don't want to spend several hundred and find out that it's going to take a few hundred more and a smith to complete the project.
If I need to give any more information on the xp, approximate year of the build or something else please let me know.

thanks for the input in advance

Remove the obvious-trigger group/transfer bar & sear housing from the single shot action.
Drill/tap a single #8 hole in the rear tang of the action to match a Model Seven/XP-100R receiver.
Install a Model Seven trigger group into action.
Bed the action into repeater/rear grip stock.
Shoot.

Well dang. Thanks for the information, thats above my skill level as I have never drilled and tapped any thing on a action. I guess I'll try to do something with the trigger and original stock. My contender has a factory trigger that is easily 3 times better than the XP. The XP trigger has a LOT of creep (I can actually feel my finger move before the gun fires) and the factory stock doesn't sit in sand bags worth a darn.

I do a lot of rear grips for the XP-100's, and use Jewell 700 triggers on all of them.
I drill a hole in the stock where the internal hold down screw is and bed a tapped pillar in place.
Never a problem doing it....

What Dan said or, what Preacher said with no action drilling or taping. Works like a charm. Preacher's way is easier. ;)
