X-treme Bullets

I was looking for bulk .224 bullets for plinking and informal target shooting and found X-treme has 55gr fmj for $40 per 500. I've never heard of them and want some feed back on them. Are they worth it or would I be wasting my money. Keep in mind I'm not looking for, nor am I expecting, match grade bullets. Or even better if someone knows where I can get decent bullets at a better price.

For plinking yes as I have used the berrys which are the same cheap bullets. They average about 2moa at a hundred or if you sort by weight and ogive length you would be getting slightly better grouping.I usually run 53 grain hornady match which are more expensive but not that badly priced.

Yes, they are good bullets. Comparable to Hornady 55g FMJs. Xtremebullets are all I shoot in my carbine and my pistols.

I have never shot Xtreme rifle bullets but have shot several thousand Xtreme pistol bullets. They work very well and are very accurate, in my opinion.

I shoot thousands of thier bullets a year. Lots of those are the55 grain fmj's the rest are plated pistol bullets. There the best fmj 55's out there. You will not be disappointed. Matt
