I just got a 20", SS 6x6.8 ar15 prefit bbl, very accurate to 500 yds so far, easy to clean stacks rounds on top of each other at 100 yds

I needed a new barrel for my hunting rifle in .308 remage. Only one I could find at 20" was x-caliber fluted. I didn't want to spend extra for fluting but was kind of stuck unless I got in line and ordered something. So I ordered it.
Man was that ever money well spent.
I have an over stock of Benchmark powder and Hornady 180 grain SST. Wow to say the least. I'm only running about 2600 FPS. That thing shoots lights out. My first hunt with it I dropped a hog at 340 yards or so. Aimed low behind his eye. Hit him a little back from aim point and he folded like a cheap lawn chair.
I wouldn't hesitate to get another for my hunting rifles.

Two out of the 6 X-caliber prefits have the chamber off center, said they had a problem with the machine but these were not ordered at the same time. They sent a return shipping label and replaced them. All of them shoot very well.

I have a 6.5 CF blank to have built. Can't make up my mind between a 6.5x47,6.5 Creed or my buddies suggestion of 260 AI. Looking forward to something and hope it will be shooter, because my buddies know what accuracy is. Bill and Graham !!!
