We don't do rimfires prefits.

Yes they have a nut. They use a 1"x16 thread, and the threads are smaller diameter than the barrel shank, and the nut has a step in it to give a more finished look (similar to a BugNut system). Factory barrel nuts are smooth, no flats or grooves. Action fits a R700 vice, as they're 1.35" diameter as well.
