Wonder where all the ammunition is?

I've received a couple of ads regarding the lower prices of some .223 Rem. ammunition. Nice to see.

Primers are the controlling component. You can buy all the others, powder, brass and bullets but without primers they just sit there unused. Yes, you can make the same claim for the others but the cost of primers is stupidly high and still rising and still unavailable. I'm sure someone will toddle in to announce that they found primers but I'm looking at the overall picture not the exceptions. You want control, make primers.

Every gun owner in the USA having a box or two for each gun & buying a box every time they see one is just like the TP shortage.
..... Too many ppl buying anything at the same time causes shelves to be empty.

.......and primers are $75/k at a little gun store in Richmond, Va. A buddy just picked me up some large pistol. I didn’t ask him to. He just knew I was looking and grabbed a box for me.

Cheapest bulk ammo I found was at ammotogo steel case 223 was ten bucks a box of twenty. Considering the reloading ability of IMI, it was also cheap.
9mm pistol ammo, steel case was 25.50 per 50 rounds.

Paid 66 bucks a 1000 a couple weeks ago for CCI 450 at my LGS. 26 or so more than the last time they were available but I was so delighted to see them that I decided to pay the price.
