Winter Maintenance and ShotMarker Inspection

The competition season has ended for our range which means a short laundry list of repair and storage before the snow flies so that I’m ready to host matches in the spring. Electronic targets greatly reduce the amount of off season work needed but..

A new item on the list is to go through all the ShotMarker boxes and clean them up. I also check over all the hubs for any damage that I may not have noticed. In the last couple years I've started checking all the connections at the microphones, as some are getting quite lose. I've been using my 3D cable hangers on the top microphones (longer heavier cords) for a year, but I'll have them on all 4 corners in the spring. I started measuring the retention force to see just how much they have changed, and it is substantial. If you are interested, I made a short video of how much different the older microphones are compared to an unused one. ShotMarker cable connections. I'll replace any cables that look sketchy or have been bent, kinked, or damaged in any way. All said, electronic targets save me a ton of time, not just on match day, but even in the off season!

We are having the same problem with the sensor hub connections as well. Got anything that will help?
To start with, I'm pretty sure you can contact ShotMarker for a rebuild.

I did make something for our range specifically, that I started rolling out about mid-season this year. It isn't on my website because I felt like a lot of places mount the hubs in such different ways, I wasn't sure it would be universal. For me, the biggest concern was that the hubs kept getting dropped during setup and teardown. The antenna jack in particular is very exposed, so I wanted to protect it and the corners with some potentially sacrificial plastic (given the presently $500 cost of a sensor hub). Send me a PM if you want to look into it further. Anyway, here is what it looks like:
