Just saw this on the ShotMarker Home page.

Pretty impressive and couldn't happen to a nicer guy ( and Gal :)... )

Excellent product, excellent features and obviously at a price point that many of us and our clubs can afford..

Some great new features coming described in the article as well.

Awesome Job Adam... Huge Thanks for a great Product!

ShotMarker - April 2019 Update
A Year in Review

Adam MacDonald
April 7, 2019
We are proud to announce that during our first 12 months on the market, over 1000 ShotMarker e-targets have been sold in 15 countries worldwide. In one short year, ShotMarker has initiated a paradigm shift to accurate, reliable, and affordable electronic targets for personal and competitive rifle shooting.

With its initial announcement in February 2018, ShotMarker disrupted the target shooting world by offering a fully featured 8-sensor acoustic e-target system at 5x reduced cost than comparable alternatives.

Edited to Add;
All of the Match Bulletins I have sent to the NRA and CMP for Prone (including F Class) and XTC matches we will be holding this year have been approved with me Specifically stating in the bulletins that all matches will be fired on ShotMarker E Targets.

Disclaimer:
I am not affiliated with ShotMarker in any way so I have Zero to Gain posting about the Shotmarker system. Just a happy Customer.

Interesting picture in the article where there is a sensor hub in the car testing range to the Access Point. 4 full bars at 5.2 Km away...

More than any of us should need even for NRA Long Range Matches.

That operating range should even cover any PRS match if people end up using these highly portable and long life batteries system benefits for those applications. I have zero experience with PRS but I would imagine the new feature of custom design target faces may come in handy for that application as well.

I'm looking forward to see how the new features described in the article work.

Adam seems like the type of engineer to me that will never stop at good enough and will always be looking for the next improvement.

My 1st 2 systems bought early last year have had a few software revisions since I got them improving functionality along the way with each one of them. All for Zero Additional Costs to date.

We are very fortunate to be able to get this performance and all these features at this price point.

Very soon there will be the ability to import and export individual saved strings, making it easier for individuals to share an Access Point at the range.

There will also be built-in support for match statistics and reporting, so that we can all figure out who wins and make it home just a little bit sooner.

Later, ShotMarker will take to the cloud, offering a web portal for clubs to upload scores, and for competitors to view results interactively, shot by shot.

Also, I plan to add the ability to import or design custom target faces, improved pair-firing functionality, plot-o-matic, and more...

My vision has always been to bring target rifle shooting into the 21st century. Affordable, reliable e-target hardware is only the beginning.

I especially can't wait to see how the cloud service will work.

To me that was one of the best features of the HEX system being able to go and look up your or others plots and scores on the web.

As far as I know Hex was the only system that could or is currently able to do that. Looks like not for long....

Practiscore already has nearly full service match management (signup, scoring, reporting, etc). I think it would be interesting to see if integration with Practiscore would be possible. Maybe download shooter list (including caliber  ) to shotmarker, scorer selects shooter, target adjusts caliber, shotmarker then uploads completed shooter scores. Would be pretty slick.

Yes.
