Wind reading on snowing ground

I'm Giuliano from Italy

I have the problem to read the wind on snowing ground,1 feet height)?

In normal conditions I follow the mirage but in this case i don't

know if is there a new and improved way to get it ?

With that snow, you should be out skiing instead of messing with guns.

If the snow is not hardpacked, you should be able to see the snow blowing on the ground. Are there any evergreen trees whose branches you can watch swaying in the wind? Shrubs? Can you feel the wind on your face, on the back of your neck?
