I got out about 5:00 a.m. and did three neighbors and mine.. I didn't use a 59" Deere blower, mine had heated grips though..

I hear you Twitchy - It's a sunny and blistering 68 degrees right now here in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Not looking forward to that bone chilling 67 degree forecast for my Saturday morning visit to the local range!I feel your pain. It's 61 down here in Florida. I had to break out my jackets and wool hat. It's going to be tough mowing the lawn today.![]()
Its ironic. We had almost no snow in WNY and all of a sudden it started snowing like normal and people start panicking.
Why you ask? Because people are lazy and or stupid. Every one filled up their snowblower machines with that aweful 10% ethanol gas we have everywhere here and let the blower sit for months. All of a sudden when they have to use it my facebook feeds gets clogged with "HALP MAH SNOWBLOWER WONT START" "MY SNOW BLOWER IS A POS IT BROKE" "THIS HONDA SNOW BLOWER IS CRAP IT WONT START"
Dummies.
That,s why I live in San Antonio. I do hope guys get some warm weather.. Tommy Mc..yesterday I had less than 3 inches on the ground here near Rochester ny but now I am looking at close to 2 feet plus as it is still snowing pretty hard. We are now officially snowed in and cant get out. I have just enough of a certain kind of medicine to last through tomorrow and am hoping it quits so we can sort of dig out. Gerry if you read this I am thinking about you brother as the weather map showed super heavy snow in your area near Syracuse. Hint be ready for this in advance but don't over do it . Good day to all.
I grew tired of shoveling it out by handYou are so full of hot air ............. why would you need a snow blower![]()
Now, that's ambition! The tunnel rat method is the only tool in the box for the foreseeable future. Tunnel through the snow, find a burrow, crawl down with a light and a 1911 and get that groundhog!Popped a belt off the blower today....grrrr.....and it was not because it was not maintained....hit a clod of ice/mud. Fourth time we did the 100 yard drive. Hopefully it will soon melt, but they are saying it may be more over the weekend. Got belt back on and besides red frozen fingers, all is ok. Might go groundhog hunting.....hahahhahahahahahahahahaha
I have my Randall tightly bit between my teeth and a miner's cap lit....let's get em!Now, that's ambition! The tunnel rat method is the only tool in the box for the foreseeable future. Tunnel through the snow, find a burrow, crawl down with a light and a 1911 and get that groundhog!
We live in northern Oneida county (NY) on top of a wooded hill and we had between 24" and 30" around the house and some spots on the quarter-mile driveway were closer to 36". Ran four gallons of gas through the snow throwers and raked a small mountain of snow off the roof. At this point, I'd rather go after the groundhogs the hard way than start the snow thrower again!
Snert, you game? Got plenty of 230 gr. hardball.
