Win Mdl 43 218Bee Re-barrel?

Recently I came about a Win Mdl 43 218Bee that has extensive rust/pitting in the bore.

Other than finding a barrel maker to purchase about the same profile, what other challenges am I in for?

I notice the front action screw "bolt" is dovetailed into the barrel and the finished tenon has a "keyway" cut for the extractor.

The stock apparently has been "refinished" but not very professionally.

The decorative end cap on the pistol grip is missing...

A stress-free pillar bedding may be warranted...

Again, what should I be prepared for? What tooling would I need to purchase other than a chamber reamer?

Thanks!

Wally

I believe that you will find that the mod 43 is not a great one to "upgrade".
The 43 uses the bolt handle or some such for the only bolt lug and is not really suitable for modern high intensity cartridges. If it's not in good original condition...I think I would spend my money elsewhere.
