WHO_TEE_WHO Rimfire Explosion

Did he explain why he changed rests from lead sled to front rest and rear bags for the harder targets? Also changed how he was holding the gun, where the camera was positioned and, the big one, he stopped putting the cases back in the box and just jacking them out on the ground. He wasn’t examining the cases, had a dud (or so he thought) and fired the next round with a bullet in the barrel. The video has breaks in it so he obviously edited that out.

Take it easy, Frances. You need to grow some thicker skin if you think that was personal.
I’ve been commenting about the you tuber the whole time and then you call me a flat earther and then Frances but it’s not personal…. I really don’t care what you think of me. You’re obviously upset I don’t believe the legitimacy of “who tee who” and dare to question the content of his video. I’m sorry if that upset you to the point you thought I was flat earther, an obvious attempt at insulting me. But, I’m not going to stoop to insulting you, I’m saving that for the owner of the video.

That damage does seem a bit excessive for a 17 cal rimfire round. I expected to see the mag drop out but not the stock damage :O
The 17 super mag I believe is a 33,000 PSI cartridge, about a standard 9 x 19 pressure. If he releases more video so we can see and hear more specifically better sound from the previous shots and a full view of the loading of the final shot that would be helpful.

Well blowing up that ruger wasn't a big deal to him he's on to building him a 1k rifle now , that ruger exploding should have got him 1p vids on why it blew , put it up with jfk cause he's moved on we will never know

I really had no idea rimfire cases have failed. I hadn’t read a post on it, and a defective firing has never happened to me, - either a rupture or a squib round. Grateful for the shared information.

(To my ear it sounded like a report on his previous round but there is a definite cut in the video, and attempting to count his remaining rounds was still ambiguous).

Personally, I would have been embarrassed to, Post that Vid, on YouTube with ALL, the 200 and 300 Yard, MISSES ! ( IMO,.. Unprepared and Unprofessional ! )
He's Doesn't use, a Rear, V-Bag rest to, Support the "Toe" area of, the Rifle and wonders WHY, ( Bad, Vertical ! ) he's "Missing", the Large, Target, repeatedly,.. Yikes,... LOL !

My grandson had a .22LR case rupture in one my AR's with a Colt conversion unit in it. He shoots southpaw and took a piece of brass to the face as well as a few specks of powder. He was wearing safety glasses. He was using up some Italian match ammo I had around. The next week I had a case rupture in a Browning Buckmark and CCI SV. It happens. That WSM ammo is HOT and looking at the closeup image of the action it's no wonder the stock blew apart as it looks like there's nothing to direct the gases anywhere else because of the magazine design.
