Been giving myself and my son high and tight haircuts for years. My girls are happy to have long hair, so they don't see the salon lady except every 2-3 years anyway. ... so it's business as usual around our house.

Well i finally found a drugstore with a hair cutting clippers kit. Did it myself. Feels much better. Not as good a a barber but under the circumstances I am very happy. Of course i have no idea what the back looks like and don't really care. I don't have to look at it.

Texted my barber the other day asking if he was cutting hair.
An hour later he texted me back,asking “who is this”
I answered back telling him the fat truck driver.
Waited a few minutes and decided to send a picture.
A couple minutes later he texted me back.
Said “meet me at the shop at 3:00,park around back so no one sees you and wear your mask”
I got my hair cut so I’m good till fall.....Ha.

Bold move!!! However I think you should consider less risky illegal activities like theft or drug dealing. They will let you out if you are a thief or drug dealer, but they'll send you away if you defy them by going to a barber.......

After early stages of pattern baldness were apparent a couple years ago, there was nothing barbers could do to help. Bought myself an Oster Fast Feed over a year ago and have been cutting my own hair ever since. Takes ten minutes, then another minute to get all the spots you missed after checking your backside in the mirror. Several friends want me to help them out, but I'm not sure how to use the clippers with a 6-foot pole extension.

My wife cut my hair today with the Wahl kit we bought. She did really well for the first time out, hell I've had worse haircuts from barbers. LOL

It should get me through this shutdown, unless our illustrious governor makes it go longer.

She seems to have a flair for hair, maybe it's a good thing. Both ears are still intact, too.

I bought the good clippers a couple years ago. Have the trimmers and the regular with different combs. I use a #2 first all over then a #1 on the sides and lower back. Finish around the ears and neck with the trimmer. Works good if you are thorough and take your time. I aint nothing to look at but at least my hair is cut....
