Who Can Tune Beam Scales? BESIDES SCOTT PARKER

I have tried to contact Scott Parker through e-mail with no luck. I’ve read other threads where his communication skills and lead time are less than stellar, so I’m not going to pursue that headache. All very disappointing because of all the great feedback on Scott’s fine job he does tuning the scales.

So, is there anyone else that tunes beam scales that has a good reputation?

Scott’s tuned scales show up on the classifieds from time to time. The OP might try posting a Want Ad. I’m not sure how to verify they were actually tuned by S Parker since he didn’t mark mine in any way that I can tell.

You can do it yourself. My scales that were tuned after several years had a very small piece break off from the blade...bugger I really like those scales.
I bought a very fine diamond file for 10 bucks. And filed the knife edges back until sharp again. I used pencil lead to lubricate the edges. All is good again. I have an fx500 electronic scales I use to check the beam scale...the beam scale is spot on to the kernel and responds to the kernel.

Scott Parker also sells tuned scales, I believe he has some on the shelf ready to ship.

I'm eagerly waiting on a scale I sent him may of 17. No response other than when he told me when he received it. I'm sure it will be great, I know his work is good.

There was a Thread on here not to long ago and Boyd Allen dumped tons of great information. So I think trying to tune my extra 1010 scale myself will be next. S Parker has been on this site a long time I hope he can turn things around. I never read anything bad about his scales.

I've no doubt that is it. But it would also be nice to use it at least once before taking the long dirt nap.

No one is worth waiting on that long. Guys keep giving him a pass, so it continues.

 Do the math, you would be pissed too if you were waiting that long. Full of crap if you deny it.
Ok, but your still whining like a gurl being denied a prom dress. Before this became an international emergency, what did you do? Go do it some more.

You can pay for it with time or money. Why not just cut the line and buy a fx120?

Myself and many others have been served well. You could have one by the end of next week. Spend a little extra and get the trickler. You wont regret it once you see how quickly you can load shells, with great accuracy.
