White Oak Armament's thoughts on 6mm ARC

I would assume that if Hornady has developed a military adopted case they will have to have a mil spec brass. Does not make sense that the civilian market would get different bras but they might.
The Hornady brass is probably adequate for the intended DoD single use. Should the 6 ARC be more widely adopted, I would not be surprised if another run of ammo with harder case heads.

I am curious about the broken bolt lugs though. Were the broken lugs consistently the one opposite the extractor?

Re: 14.5" barrel and velocity: https://content.osgnetworks.tv/firearmsnews/content/photos/Hornady-6mmARC-8-770.jpg

You can go plug it into Hornady 4DOF, it's quite good at the distance it'd be used out of a 14.5" barrel. I was originally building an 18" but am considering a 16" now that I did the 4DOF crunching out to 1000. I'll probably build a 11.5" SBR, too.

I know velocity isn't everything, but that seems slow enough to be as to be giving up too much potential. While unlikely to please Hornady, I suspect that sticking a 95 SMK into this thing would make it shine from a 14.5"...

FWIW, I ended up having a 18" and a 10.5" made. We'll see how it goes once the barrels come in.
