Which small caliber primer tool should I purchase?

I just purchased a new one when my Lee decided it was going to break the plastic feeders every time I use it. I tried the RCBS one a few years back with the spring loaded jaws and a tight primer would pop the brass out of the tool. I replaced it with the older model that uses shell holders and it was a pain to swap the shell holders around. I decided the next one was going to be a all metal unit,... I bought a Frankford Arsenal "Platinum" hand primed and its a top quality piece, well worth the money.
 
First I want to thank all of of you. I've read all of your replies and appreciate your comments.

When I went to the reloading shop to return the tool per the owner this have been "operator error" on my part when using this RCBS priming tool. I will start another thread about priming procedure.

I have been hand reloading and using a Lee, Dillon or Hornady progressive press, and 21st Century primer seater over the last 50 years and have never had a problem. Maybe I have just been Blessed. The Lord watches out for Fools and Little Children. We all know where I fit in.

I'm in LUV w my Primal Rights priming system.
0.001" depth adj and FAST and sooo well made.
Very much a cry once addition to the bench.

Yeah, they started shutting down a while back. I got my 2nd one from them about 4 months ago. Sorry about that.

Man I have a new one of these in a box somewhere and just have not taken the time to play with it.

The issue I have is a bum hand from an accident that prevents me from doing delicate/tiny grasping such as picking up a primer with that hand and more taxing to get it into a small slot. In reality a tube feed bench mount would be ideal. I'll get there but it will take a little time.
 
:)I have one from 21st century that I seat primers for my wifes 22-250 one from Sinclair that I seat primers for my .222 and rcbs bench mounted that Darrel Holland revised and calls it the perfect primer seater that I use for my 6br and I wouldent want to be without any of them.:rolleyes:If I was only going with one I would probably go with 21st century. Set it right and every primer will be seated the same depth but remember different brands of primers are different thickness whether they are large or small.I personaly use Remington benchrest primers for all my guns.:p
 
Once you get used to a single feed priming tool its hard to go back to goofing with tubes or jamming trays. Its alot faster than you think. Get a good primer flip tray like a dillon and dont put too many primers in it. Id be willing to bet an experienced br shooter that loads between targets is faster and way more precise with a single load priming tool than anybody is with a tray fed or tube fed rig.

I have two 21st century with lee trays a 21st century single feed and Sinclair single feed, now I have at least a dozen others but these are the ones I use.

I am doubtful Dusty if the "won't be more precise" will apply to the Primal Rights. Lotsa feel and oh so precise depth adjustment.
