I bought three nightforce scopes in the last 60 days, just so can form my opinion. An Atacr, NXS and SHV F1. I like them all but for the money the SHV holds its own. I hunt, I don't shoot competition. I've had all sorts of Leupolds and have sent two back, both were serviced and worked fine but it seems they are losing ground. I have a Sightron S3, love it, bright, repeatable, dependable. I have several SWFAs, love them too. The nice thing about todays market is we are spoiled, competition among scope manufactures is fierce. The quality is getting better and better, there are more choices than they ever have been. Reticles, styles, sizes abound. I remember as kid going down to the local gunshop and saving my money for my first Leupold, it was king of the hill. Things have changed. Last point, I buy most of my optics used, never been burned. I had to send a SWFA back, they gave me a new scope two weeks later. If you on a budget, hunt the used market, theres some deals to be had.
