Great point, thanks for the advice.Okay. I'd start doing some math on the scope models weight and include mounts. Several models you mentioned are heavy 38-40+ oz.
March and Nightforce competition generally under 30oz.

LanceXXX Has the Sightron Sale on Now.Hey everyone, it's time to pick the collective brain of accurateshooters haha
I just finished building up my midrange F Class rifle - Kelbly's Atlas with a .223 Wylde 27" Hawk Hill 1:7
I am at the point of deciding on glass and am a bit torn between the following:
My main considerations are glass quality with an astigmatism, available elevation travel so I can have a clear and effective zero at 100 and 600 yards (it is going on a 20 MOA rail - ballistics show around 14 MOA drop between 100 and 600 yards), hash mark reticle with floating dot would be ideal, I suppose I could live without the floating dot but holdover hash marks are a necessity. Illuminated would be nice for the black F Class targets on darker days.
- Delta Stryker 5-50x56 (top pick other than CS being out of Poland - heard the reticle is pretty thin and non illuminated)
- The new Athlon Ares ETR UHD 15-50x60 (very new model for them, might need some refining after initial release)
- Trijicon TenMile 5-50x56 (really wish they had the floating dot in MOA)
- Sightron - I want to want one, but I can't seem to find the right mix of features (floating dot, 1/8 MOA, zero stop, illumination)
Is there anything I'm missing? What would you recommend? I've watched just about every review video and read every review post out there on all of those options, and everything has its pros/cons. Any and all input is much appreciated.
Thanks and happy shooting!

Yep, I think I'm sold. It really seems to have the best things that I'm looking for, and will offer some versatility if I ever want to swap it around. I'll probably 3D print a lighter follower and grip if I ever need to drop an oz or two for whatever reason. I'll be shooting down around Houston mostly so I'll probably be using a sunshade and aperture ring at times. At just under 40 oz, the Trijicon would put you at ~17.8 - 17.9 lb. As long as there isn't some additional weight that is unaccounted for, such as a mirage band, bubble level, rain cover, etc., a final rifle weight slightly under 18.0 lb is not a bad place to be.
This saved me from a $2k mistake..I'm with you, like only a floating dot center.
The Trijicon Tenmile is almost the same scope as the Delta Stryker.
Really great glass for the money, as good as the others.
I've had 3, 2 in MOA and one in the Mrad.
I've kept the Mrad cause of the floating dot reticle.
One click is equal to .18 movement with the mrad compared to .125 in the MOA
The MOA retile is a bit thicker, F class John used one for awhile till the
March Majesta came out.
The NF comp might not have the best hold-offs for F class, it will work. (DDR-2)
The NF comp (FCR-1) is good, just doesn't have a floating dot center.
The Golden Eagle ( ECR-1 )will dim at anything above 40x, still a nice scope.
The Sightrons S111 10-50x60 have good glass, just as you mentioned, need a better
floating dot reticle. They missed the boat with their new 10-60x56 scope only good out
to 300 yds.
March scopes are the best, but expensive. I have one for sale. The scope list for $3200Hey everyone, it's time to pick the collective brain of accurateshooters haha

why dont you put that in the classifiedsMatch scopes are the best. I have one for sale. 10x-60x56, With BULZ EYE PRO (Booster) on it to bring to 80x plus. If interested send me a e-mail. tony_bera@hotmail.com
Thanks for the heads up. I am new at this. New memberwhy dont you put that in the classifieds
Yep! All the above are good, I have the Kahles 1050 {very good glass, very small centre dot}, the Trijicon Ten Mile and now also a March Majasta with brilliant optics... $$$NF Comp, Kahles 1050, Vortex Golden Eagle and quite a few March models. All 4 also have floating dot reticles. There are far more NF Comp’s and Golden Eagles on the line than anything else. But I’m seeing more March all the time.
Not many guys worry about illumination. Unless you have a serious vision problem I wouldn’t worry about it. Older NF NSX 12x42 and 8x32 NSX, NF BR series, Trijicon are all illuminated.
This is true, from a March scope owner of several as well as Kahles that I love as well and a Trijicon Ten Mile that for the price is a darn good buy. Power, glass and illumination.March scopes certainly are one of the highest price scopes, whether or not they are the best might be subject to who you ask ?
You absolutely have to have a scope that does the job for you vision otherwise you are just sending a lot of stray shots down range.. I had to dump some lead shot to make weight on my F Open rifle when I added my March Majesta... Changed balance a bit but not much and to have that scope was worth it.You'd like the NF comp...all around one of the more popular ones out there in F-Class
and relatively light weight. I had one and I liked it. However im a one eyed Pete myself,
and the Sightron SVSSED is what works for me ..Yea its a boat anchor in weight, but I really like it.
