Yes, I agree, it is the expectation of extra light and a brighter image that drew me to the HM version as opposed to the standard BR or Tactical 10-60 x 52.

Does help, I could not shoot in the morning with any 52 mm. objective scopes on my range due to being in the woods. Now the 10-50x60 it is like being in open field with the sun out. I would expect the 56 mm objective on the HM. plus the better glass to be a lot brighter too.... jim
